The finding
An independent reciprocal-dialogue detector run over all 30 all-LLM campaign sessions found exactly one qualifying pair. The details don't soften it. The pact cost nothing: no unit ever offered both parties positive surplus at the same time, and the payoffs are indistinguishable from seat baselines. Opus broke its letter repeatedly after t11. In one decision it placed a g4 bid while the rhetoric in that same decision claimed “I have never placed a bid on g0, g2 or g4”, and its private reasoning conceded the pact had no value left. The counterparty, the small model, kept it to the letter. So coordination emerged once, was kept by the smaller model, and was dropped by the larger one as soon as it became inconvenient.
